What can I put a PhoneTag on?
Anything you don't want to lose touch with: a kid's backpack or jacket, a pet's collar, luggage, sports gear, a golf bag, or a loved one's bag. It's a lightweight, water-resistant connection tag, and you can mix and match as many as you like on one account.
How does pricing and renewal work?
Every PhoneTag is $9.99, one-time. Your first tag includes your first year of PhoneTag Family, with audio, video, and an AI assistant that can answer when you don't. Additional tags are $9.99 each with no additional membership fee, and one membership covers up to 12 tags. Your membership renews at $34.00 a year, billed securely through Stripe. Cancel anytime.
Is it safe to put a tag on my child?
Yes, that's exactly what it's designed for. The tag shows no name, number, or address. If someone scans it, they're connected to you instantly, in a live video call with private messaging and photo sharing; they never see your contact details; you decide what, if anything, to share. What if someone misuses the tag or keeps scanning it?
Every scan is logged with its time, location, and device, and shown in your PhoneTag app, including scans that never rang your phone or were answered by your AI assistant. Repeat scans are throttled automatically, one tap blocks a scanner for good (they just see "no one is available"), and one tap can report them to our safety team. Does someone need an app to reach me?
No. They just point their phone's built-in camera at the tag and tap the link, the call opens in their browser. The app is only for you.
How does the AI assistant work?
It's included with every account. A voice assistant that's trained on your own instructions can greet whoever scans the tag and answer questions based on your instructions, take a message, or ring you and connect the call live. Every membership includes 12 AI minutes a month; add 60 more for $8.00 a month, stackable, cancel anytime.
What is the PhoneTag Intercom?
A mounted stainless tag for your door or entry, priced like every other tag at $9.99. Visitors scan it to reach you by live video, voice, or text wherever you are, and the AI receptionist can answer when you can't. No wiring, no batteries, no camera hardware.
Does it really keep my phone number private?
Yes. Calls run over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection. Whoever scans the tag never sees your phone number, email, or address, only the call itself.
